Our MERCI G laboratory fume hoods have been awarded the Czech Quality – SZUTEST–Product Tested mark by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic under the National Quality Policy program. Independent testing was carried out by the Strojírenský zkušební ústav (SZÚ) - an engineering test institute, confirming the compliance with the strict safety and performance requirements of EN 14175. The award was accepted on behalf of the company MERCI by Head of R&D Ing. Vlastimil Lux.
The Czech Quality program, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Czech Quality Council, brings together verified quality marks that distinguish genuine and proven products and services. Each mark has its own specific criteria – in the case of SZUTEST–Product Tested, it involves independent verification of technical and safety parameters by an accredited testing authority.
As stated by Eduard Muřický, Chairman of the Czech Quality Council:

Verified safety, not just a claim

The testing of MERCI G fume hoods at the SZÚ included measurements of containment efficiency, airflow distribution, chemical resistance and thermal stability. Results confirmed that our design meets and exceeds the safety limits required by European standards.
